Most people will probably need glasses to help aid their vision at some part in their life.

The NHS recommends that the majority of people have an eye test every two years. For children, over 60′s, diabetes suffers, glaucoma suffers or immediately family over forty, this changes to every year.

Some people may need to wear glasses all the time. Other may need them for specific reasons, like driving, reading or computer use. These are called single vision. For more information on this type of lens click here.

Some people may need more than one pair, for close up work, computer work and things further away (in the distance), so they may consider bifocals or varifocals (otherwise known as multifocals or progressive lenses) Further information on these lenses can be found here.
